If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address or failed delivery attempts, redelivery costs may be charged.

14. Perishable Products

Certain products sold by Die Koskas are perishable food items.

Due to food safety regulations, we cannot accept returns of:

opened food
perishable food
products requiring refrigeration
products that have passed their best-before date after delivery

unless the products are faulty or delivered incorrectly.

15. Returns & Refunds

Customers may request a return where permitted by Austrian consumer legislation.

Returned products must:

be unopened
unused
in original packaging
in resaleable condition

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

Shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless required by law.

16. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers residing within the European Union may have statutory withdrawal rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.

However, under Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

perishable goods,
sealed goods unsuitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed,

Customers are responsible for storing food products according to the instructions printed on the packaging.

Die Koskas cannot accept responsibility for deterioration caused by improper storage after delivery.

Many of our products are handmade or traditionally produced.

are normal and do not constitute defects.
